I am SO excited to share this wedding with you! I did a sneak peek last week, and now get to show you all this amazingly unique wedding, held at the Marathon Village, in Nashville, TN.
I met Erica about 1 and a half years ago, when she came into my Dad’s Air Conditioning business to interview for an office position. After the interview, my Dad and I couldn’t believe someone this cool would want to work for us, and hadn’t gotten snatched up somewhere else! She started working almost right away. I didn’t imagine then that I would be shooting her wedding – or that it would be such a perfect vintage circus DIY wedding.
Everything about this wedding was so creative and unique. Erica and her family put in LOTS of time putting all this together – especially since they live in Mississippi, and were starting decorating with an empty room. I was super impressed with her ability to pull something like this together!
Unfortunately, Becky wasn’t able to come down to help me shoot this wedding, but a special shout-out goes to my sister, Anita, for being my assistant.
Erica & Aaron chose to do a first look. Erica just knew she was going be very emotional when she saw her husband-to-be for the first time on her wedding day, and chose do to before she walked down the aisle. It also gave us lots of time to take photos during the afternoon, since their ceremony wasn’t until after dark.
More amazing details in the reception….
Each table had it’s own arrangement as the centerpiece. She had lots of different candlesticks, vases, and elephants.
Erica & Aaron have lots of nieces and nephews, and Erica picked out the cutest outfits for them to wear!
Aaron & Erica sing together [here’s their website, and Aaron sang Erica a song during the reception. It was the sweetest thing.
