My aunt and uncle invited us to join them on an Outer Banks vacation several weeks ago. As a cherry on the top of a wonderful week, I had the pleasure of photographing my Aunt Janet, my cousin Katie, and Katie’s friend Anne.
While the girls were still primping, Aunt Janet and I got started. My own mother is often mistaken for my sister and you can see youthfulness runs in the family!!
Soon the girls came out…
I could have photographed Ann all day long!!! Her face was so expressive and each frame seemed entirely different from the previous. Anne had so much natural grace that she made posing look like a total snap.
The day after we arrived, everyone else had left for the beach (or so I thought) except for me and Joshua, who was napping. I was so startled when I heard a flute playing in the girls’ room. Anne is a music major at Virginia Tech and a member of their marching band. I was pretty impressed with her dedication.
So do I get a commission when Ford Models discovers my cousin on this blog?!
I love this picture!! Aunt Janet popped the hat on Katie’s head at the last minute, which totally makes the shot.
It was Katie who wanted my aunt to come along and get mother-daughter pictures together.
Thank you, Aunt Janet, Katie, and Anne!! It would be impossible to get bad shots of these three gorgeous ladies!!!!!
